Designed to be passed down as an heirloom, this large star pendant features an exquisite micro-mosaic centre set into 18k solid gold and encircled with glistening brilliant cut diamonds and multi-coloured graduated sapphires, showcasing the attention to detail and true craftsmanship that goes into the making of this design.

Incorporating the age old traditional Italian techniques of micro mosaic art set with precious gemstones, these small masterpieces have been created by skilled artisans in Italy who have passed this extremely time consuming and complex craft down through family generations.

A note on diamond: April's birthstone, the diamond is said to represent love, strength and a long life. Referred to as the 'king of gems' due to its unique powers of light reflection and being one of the hardest natural substances known.

A note on sapphire: September's birthstone, traditionally marking the 45th wedding anniversary. Worn by royalty, considered a symbol of good fortune, virtue, holiness and wisdom. The ancient Persians believed the Earth rested on an enormous Sapphire and it was its reflection that coloured the sky.
